1. Chaturanga Dandasana

Chaturanga Dandasana is a one of the many yoga poses that helps in toning the entire body. It is quite similar to the position of doing pushups; however, this pose requires you to stay off the ground by supporting the body on your hands and keeping the core intact.

Precautions To Be Taken

If you have a shoulder or hip injuries avoid attempting this pose. However, practicing it under a certified instructor would help you better.

2. Adho Mukha Svanasana

How It Works

The Adho Mukha Svanasana is a weight-bearing pose. It is done with your feet and hands pressing to the ground and the hips pushing up creating an inverted “V” like shape. This pose is considered to be an excellent way to tone your arms and biceps.

Don’t try doing this pose if you suffer from carpal tunnel syndrome.

3. Vira Bhadrasana

5. Naukasana

Naukasana also known as the Boat Pose is a very common yoga pose to strengthen the core.
